Available Standard Poodle Puppies: crabapplepoodles@yahoo.com February 26, 2011 The winter is moving slowly on and we are all suffering from "cabin fever". Time to think about a poodle baby for diversion, distraction, and pure enjoyment!
It has been a busy winter here on Poodle Mountain but we still have some wonderful classic black standard babies. Valerie has her very self confident, very social blacks by Foster. Darcy has a brown boy and black girls and boys... her kids are a little more thoughtful than Valerie's but both litters are really good pooh-kids.. Both litters are three and a half months old.. Sassy has two beautiful cream girls, black girl and boy in her Moyen, ( very small size standards), litter and we have the MONKEES!....Courtney and Ciso's very colorful parti moyens who are now 12 weeks old.
Our "Moyens" mature out to between 25 and 35lb at maturity and 17" to 21" in height at the shoulders.
There are two girls, two boys, blacks and blues in the Scarlet/Cisco litter, again the smaller standard we call the Moyen, who are 5 months old. We do reduce our puppy prices after the age of 4months...
Natalie has a big cream male and a smaller white male left in her 6 month old miniature litter by Fritz and AllyOpps litter. These are sensible miniatures...and good children's companions. Natalie also has little boys available in miniatures, 10 weeks of age, in black, cream/white, and brown from Velma and Fritz.
In older standard pups, just Flossie, Gretal, & Hansel are still here. Flossie is very social, loves middle age children and would make such a great family poodle.. Why she is still here is beyond me! She is a very happy, very outgoing girl. She does need basic training and guidance so like all our older pups needs a home with some one at home in it to nurture, supervise and guide during the first month in a whole new way of life. She was a year old on Feb 15th.
Gretel and Hansel would do well in a quiet home with an adult at home to help them adjust to a major life style change.. They are all affectionate, friendly young adults, they will become very bonded, velcro poodles and your very best friend..

We also have a number of breeders who will be retiring this spring and need special homes.. The adult breeders have lived here in a very rural country setting all their lives.. that big, busy outside world can be quite a culture shock. Securely fenced yard is a must and an adult home with someone in it to help them make the transition.. The adult retiring breeders have not been raised with the higher enery of young children so we prefer retired humans for the retired poodle breeders.
Little Nell, apricot 4 yr old, Sarabeth,heather brown, 5 year old, Betsey a sable parti color, Mountie, apricot 4 yr old male are all up for adoption in the next couple months. They will be spayed and neutered before they leave me. Please email me if you have an interest in any of the adults listed. Thanks!

Upcoming Litters: There is no one pregnant right now on Poodle Mountain but we are planning on a red litter and a brown litter to be born in April, and pups ready in June. May also have a silver litter...(I hope)... all in the full range of standard poodle size at maturity. Will know more about who the sires and dams will be for the summer litters in another month! Please keep your eye on this page for updates and I will be posting new pictures in the next day or two of the pups who are ready and available now and during the month of March.. email for more info!
